"...what's in my bag"

Hi Everyone,

So after my unavoidable absence, I thought I would ease myself back into things by doing this well known tag. I love to have a nosey into other girls' bags to see what they carry around and also to convince myself that it is normal to lug around all the things I do!

The handbag that I have been using is my Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 Bandouliere in Damier Ebene. I absolutely love this bag and will probably do a review on it in the near future.

Now, before buying this bag, I did a lot of research on it, and was well aware of the "black hole" aspects that it is renowned for. But lucky for me, I always like my belongings to be housed in little pouches inside of my handbag.

As you can see, I like to have all my pouches lined up so that I can blindly feel for the things that I need at any given time.

I use my Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch 19 as my make up bag and it does an absolute fab job. I have used this since I bought it back in 2006. I mainly just keep lip products, my perfume travelo and some hand creme.
The black case you can see is my sunglasses. I'm not the biggest fan of this case because it is huge but it came with my sunglasses.
The little cute fella you can see is my foldable shopping bag which I carry around to stop me having to buy carrier bags at shops. I got this for a couple of quid from eBay and I love him!
The next item is my new obsession!!! I have now turned into a fully pledged Filofax maniac!!!! Not going to say too much because I have planned a post on how I use it and decorate it.
The flowery little coin purse is from Cath Kidston and I use this to house my earphones for my iPhone as it really annoys me having to unknot them all the time. This is something I would really recommend if you use a large bag and like to listen to music or audiobooks on the go.
Next to that is a DKNY pouch which I bough years ago!!! This has seen better days but I use it now as a pencil case to work alongside my filofax.
The next pouch is my version of the walking pharmacy in the form of a Rebecca Minkoff Pouch. This just contains paracetemol, plasters,, hayfever tables (a must!!!!) and some ladies products.
Last but by no means least, is my purse. I have the Louis Vuitton Zippy Compact Wallet in Damier Ebene and I am actually in love with it!! It is so different from any other purse I have ever used and I love taking it out of my Speedy and them both matching like Mummy and Baby.

So thats all I have in my Speedy. I decided on the size (35) because I will use it for travelling and in the future if I have kids, I think this will come in handy as a diaper bag because of its size.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Please comment and follow if you did.

"...its been a long time"

Hi Everyone

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the lack of posts over the last few months.

But I do have a good reason for it!!

Unfortunately, back in early December, my house was one of the victims of the flooding that hit the UK.

As I live in a bungalow, nothing escaped the water and everything was damaged. So as you can imagine the last few months we have been trying to clean the walls, lay new carpets, and generally just trying to not get too bogged down in the hugeness of it all.

That being said, it's not been all doom and gloom! I have recently got the job I wanted to start off my career and the ladies I work with are all lovely.

But now I am back to my writing and I have a few organisation/projects to share.

I hope everybody's Christmas and New Years went well and I will see you in my next blog.

"... ELF Haul No 2"

So with all these brill offers happening over the last few weeks on ELF website, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to add to my nail polish collection.

So after, (not much) thought, I filled my basket with a few goodies.

Now usually, I like to buy products/colours that I won't wear very often, so then I'm not spending lots of money on them. But this time, I filled up with lots of colours that are very me! Plus a few glitters ....

"... It's craft time"

So the week I made a strange purchase for what would normally be given to a primary school child or a handmade crafts sorta gal.

It was these.....

Decided to pick these up to use with tape when doing nail art; patterns like chevrons etc.
Don't you just love when you find another use for something?

For example using Kirby grips/Bobbi pins to make polka dots or using nail top coat on costume jewellery to stop it going rusty.

What other tips does everyone have??? Please share.....

"...it's all old skool MAC"

This look happened to come about because I dropped my "purple" MAC palette on the floor as I was reaching for my Sleek colours. I don't know if it were the palettes way of getting my attention or it was just my fumbling mid-morning grasp; either way I took note and had a play about with some much loved albeit forgotten shades.

What do you guys think???
